Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

ABOUT:

This is a MoMA Museum exhibition of a randomly selected artist named Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. She is a Japanese kawaii pop star known for her childish style and love for all things cute. This project was meant to advertise her personality through a conceptual museum exhibition for MoMA celebrating her 15th year of her career coming up in 2026.

THE PROJECT:

I chose some colors and type that relate to her early work, specifically her first music video "Pom Pom Pom." I chose to arrange typography, color, and imagery to be equally distributed throughout the exhibition design while portraying her playful, bubble gum personality from the start of her career.
